San Antonio, TX, June 12, 2016 — Solartis announced today a strategic initiative to integrate ISO Electronic Rating Content (ERC) into its Solartis Insure™ Platform. The initiative, which was announced at the Insurance Accounting & Systems Association Conference in San Antonio, Texas, is designed to help Solartis Insure Platform users implement the latest ISO and workers compensation content more quickly and deliver insurance products with greater efficiency.

“ISO ERC accelerates our efforts to revolutionize the way insurance is bought and sold,” said Nick Richardson, Solartis president and CEO. “ISO ERC enables Solartis to instantly download the latest ISO and workers compensation digital content into the Solartis Platform and integrate it with our customers’ insurance product modification and exception data. Our customers benefit from faster speed to market, improved efficiency, and enhanced compliance in delivering their insurance products.”

“We’re pleased to welcome Solartis to our growing ISO Electronic Rating Content Associate program,” said Mark Sheehan, head of ISO Rating Solutions. “ISO ERC is attracting more interest from insurers and vendors, and we expect it to become the industry-standard method for supporting ISO rating.”

Solartis provides sales and full policy life cycle cloud-based services to insurance carriers, their distribution partners, and insureds. The Solartis Insure Platform is a set of sales and policy administration cloud services available in two delivery models: Software as a Service and Platform as a Service. Using Solartis Insure as a core component of an insurer’s digital strategy promotes growth, enables fast implementation, and improves relationships with brokers and insureds.

ISO, a Verisk Analytics (Nasdaq:VRSK) business, has been a leading source of information about property/casualty insurance risk since 1971. For a broad spectrum of commercial and personal lines of insurance, ISO provides statistical, actuarial, underwriting, and claims information and analytics; compliance and fraud identification tools; policy language; information about specific locations; and technical services.
