Solartis enables both trusted major insurance companies and startups. We are an insurance technology and service provider. We built our platform from the ground up on microservice architecture and deploy it in a cloud native infrastructure. Our insurance business processing team is dedicated to relieving customers of administrative tasks so they can focus on delivering value to their customers.

Solartis was started in California in 2004. We currently employ over 1,200 people in the US and India. Our team is focused on the ongoing development and implementation of our software platform and on processing insurance transactions on behalf of our customers on any of their software platforms – including ours!

 

About the role

The Account Manager role has the following responsibilities:

  • Onboard new customers and manage project execution 
  • Develop trusted relationships with customers
  • Use product and industry knowledge to guide customers through use cases for their business requirements
  • Manage contracts, statements of work, invoicing and collection
  • Increase revenue through more use of our platform and services by you assigned accounts
  • Monitor customer activity and data to identify opportunities and address potential issues
  • Partner with Sales/Business Development, Marketing, Product and Engineering teams to capture prospect and customer feedback
  • Define, track, and achieve key account metrics
  • Deliver Account Reviews and Customer Surveys to engage, grow and learn from our customers

About you

We are looking for account managers who are passionate about customer success and fostering excitement about the value of our platform and services. Your accounts will include Tier 1 & 2 insurance carriers, MGA’s, Wholesalers, large brokers, and startups.  You will represent the company at conferences and trade shows.  More specific requirements include:

  • 3+ years of account management experience – insurance industry preferred; or 3+ years of Underwriting Department experience in an insurance company or MGA
  • Passionate about building relationships and identifying ways to increase value
  • Skilled communicator and collaborator 
  • Strong insurance technology acumen
  • Accurately manage, report, and communicate account plans and performance
  • Demonstrated track record of regularly exceeding performance targets
  • Ability to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively, in a remote work environment
  • BA or equivalent 4 year degree
