As President and CEO, Nick is responsible for overseeing Solartis corporate operations, and working closely with the leadership team to develop the company’s business strategy. He brings a wealth of experience in enterprise software and the insurance industry.
Prior to co-founding Solartis, Nick was a senior vice president at ePolicy Solutions, a leading provider of insurance quote and policy management solutions. He previously served as a national head of Medicare insurance at Kaiser Permanente and as an associate principal at McKinsey & Company, where he focused on serving clients in the insurance industry.
In addition to his role at Solartis, Nick is Vice Chairman of the Roessler-Chadwick Foundation, a not-for-profit educational organization that runs schools in Los Angeles, United States and in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
Nick has an MBA from Harvard University and a BS from the University of London, England.
Siby is responsible for defining the technology vision and direction for Solartis Automation which includes identifying, evaluating, enabling new technologies and lead product engineering involving architecture, design and implementation. He brings over 25 years of experience in software engineering, enterprise systems, distributed transaction processing, cloud computing, knowledge bases, artificial intelligence and business process management systems.
Prior to co-founding Solartis, Siby worked in a variety of technology roles at Inventa Technologies Inc., a Silicon Valley-based Internet professional services firm providing strategy, technology, implementation and support service solutions to large corporations and emerging Internet businesses. Siby worked at Inventa as Director of Technology, focusing on enterprise architecture, defining software engineering standards & procedures, enterprise application development, new technology product offerings which includes technology frameworks and enterprise systems for insurance industry clients.
Previously Siby worked on a variety of projects in different industry verticals involving Product Engineering, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) to co-exist & inter-operate enterprise systems that run on heterogeneous environments.
Siby holds a MS in Computer Applications from University of Kerala, India. In addition, he also holds a BS degree in Electronics & Communications and a BS degree in Physics from University of Kerala, India.
Srini is responsible for managing Solartis day-to-day operations, including business transaction processing, quality control operations, customer support, and real estate and facilities. As one of the Solartis founders, he brings over 20 years of experience and leadership in project leadership, software operations, technology solutions delivery and professional services to its management team.
Prior to co-founding Solartis, Srini worked in a variety of project management roles at Inventa, Inc., a Silicon Valley-based Internet professional services firm providing strategy, technology, implementation and support service solutions to large corporations and emerging Internet businesses. Most recently at Inventa, Srini worked for 2 years as Program Manager for an insurance industry customer developing a quote and policy administration solution.
Srini has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Diploma in Systems Design and Development from Madurai Kamaraj University, India.
Carol oversees all Solartis P&C insurance business development initiatives. She has been working in the P&C insurance industry throughout her entire career. Carol started as an underwriter for USF&G, followed by managing the family independent insurance agency in Southampton, NY, for 8 years. Fascinated by technology, she moved into the insurance software sector where she honed her skills in insurance process improvement and technology solutions.
Working for CGI for 9 years, IDP for 4 years, and ePolicy / Insurity for 5 years, Carol’s contributions included Business Analyst work, Customer Training, Sales Support activities as well as New Business Development.
Carol attributes her success to her strong background in insurance, her understanding of carrier and agent requirements and goals, and her ability to provide solutions that deliver real business benefits and financial value.
Tim is responsible for strategic planning, account management, and for the overall success of Solartis’ relationships with new and existing client accounts. He provides leadership and guidance to customers in order for them to reach their strategic and tactical digital objectives.
Tim is a strategic, energetic executive who brings over 25 years of insurance and financial services industry experience with a proven record of leading large-scale initiatives, business process reviews and organizational restructurings. Prior to joining Solartis, Tim held a variety of senior level positions at Liberty Mutual and has deep knowledge of the entire Commercial and Specialty Risk insurance product lifecycles.
Tim is a graduate of St. Michaels College where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and attributes his success to having worked in both business and technology sectors, listening to what the customer wants and being able to partner on delivering the best solution.
Josh is responsible for Solartis’s BPO sales division. He has worked closely with Insurance Carriers, MGAs, Wholesalers, and Retail agencies of all specialties and sizes since 2015, when he began working in insurance support services at Applied Systems.
A self-proclaimed "Insurtech Nerd," he’s developed an appetite and passion for enabling his clients to accomplish their business goals through automation and outsourcing. Josh holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL. Josh is also a founding chairman of a local non-profit called "Let’s Ketchup" in the greater Kankakee, Illinois area that works to eliminate the burdens of student lunch debt and food scarcity for the area’s local students and their families.
Josh lives in the greater Chicagoland with his wife and daughter.
Gerry is an account manager at Solartis with responsibilities to coordinate and execute multiple projects working with a global team. He is also responsible for managing customer relationships, and growing large strategic accounts within the US.
He brings over 20 years of experience leading large enterprise software development projects solving complex business problems for global businesses. Before joining
