About Carol McKenzie

Carol oversees all Solartis P&C insurance business development initiatives. She has been working in the P&C insurance industry throughout her entire career. Carol started as an underwriter for USF&G, followed by managing the family independent insurance agency in Southampton, NY, for 8 years. Fascinated by technology, she moved into the insurance software sector where she honed her skills in insurance process improvement and technology solutions.

Working for CGI for 9 years, IDP for 4 years, and ePolicy / Insurity for 5 years, Carol’s contributions included Business Analyst work, Customer Training, Sales Support activities as well as New Business Development.

Carol attributes her success to her strong background in insurance, her understanding of carrier and agent requirements and goals, and her ability to provide solutions that deliver real business benefits and financial value.
